Pottery Studio
The studio where Yoshihiro Koide created pottery for nearly 40 years. Building available for rent.
小出庵は、時間にとらわれず24時間ご自分の好きなペースで作陶可能な施設です。
陶芸講師は常駐しておりません。そのため、ご自分で作陶できる方が対象となります。
また一週間から一か月を超え、作陶、焼成を行う施設であるため、中・長期の滞在が可能です。
焼き物の街、常滑市には、駅近くに数多くの素敵な陶芸体験施設があります。2時間から3時間ほどで
リーズナブルな価格で作陶を楽しめます。薪窯を構える小出庵は市街地からのアクセスは決していいとは言えず、
初めての陶芸体験を数時間でライトに経験してみたいという方はそちらの施設をお勧めいたします。
一方で、二日、三日から1週間ゆっくり滞在しながら、陶芸技術の土練り道具作りを学びたい方には
陶芸講師のコースも設けておりますので、「発見する」Discoverを参照ください。
【設備】 ろくろ3台、土練機、土練り台を備える。基本的な道具は写真参照のこと。
※焼き物は制作から薪窯まで可能(＊電気窯・ガス窯に関しては別)
Koide-an is a “workshop” pottery at your own pace without worrying about time constraints.
This facility is intended for independent potters, therefore no pottery instructors are stationed here: just you and the space.
Furthermore, as a facility for creating and firing pottery over periods ranging from one week to over a month, medium- to long-term stays are possible.
In Tokoname City, the town of pottery, there are many wonderful pottery workshop experiences near the station. You can enjoy pottery making for about 2 to 3 hours at a reasonable price.
Koide-an, with its wood-fired kiln, is not easily accessible from the city center.
For those wanting a light, short pottery experience for a few hours, we recommend those other workshops.
For those wishing to stay from two or three days to up to a week learning clay pottery techniques such as clay preparation and tool making, we also offer courses with a local skilled pottery instructor. Learn more in the “「発見する」Discover” Section.
【Facilities】Three potter’s wheels, clay kneading machine, and clay kneading table available.
Basic tools are available shown in the photo below.
※ Pottery production is possible from creation to wood-fired kiln (＊Electric/gas kilns are separate).
